Greetings Dance Family,
I pray you are all well and continuing to enjoy the good weather with family and friends.
As many of us prepare to send children and grandchildren back to school and those at work return to normal working hours, we all need to prepare for what God has in store for each and every one of us in this season.
I am pleased to inform you that our next worship in dance event will be in person and will take place on Saturday 26th November 2022, ‘The Reason for the Season’. The event will take place in London and be led by Vessels of Honour.
We therefore have to start rehearsals and although you are always expected to rehearse at home where possible, I have attached dates for some of our network practices in person and on Zoom. We will add additional ones if and when needed.
Kellie Anne Jarrett from NLDNUK London has choregraphed a network dance as part of her PUSH 2 course. The song is entitled ‘Rest on us ‘ by Maverick City Music and there are separate parts for Genesis, Miriam and the Men. The link on YouTube is below so you can become familiar with the song. The choreography will be taught by the London team so please join the rehearsals as listed in the attached document.
We have not yet prepared the programme for ‘The Reason for the Season’ but request you continue to practice ‘In the Name of Jesus’ by Israel Houghton, ‘God is here’ by Martha Munizzi (Miriam) ‘Onaga’ by James Hariston and of course ‘Rest on us’ by Maverick City once you have the choreography. We will update once planning is completed.
This is certainly a new season and as we reflect on Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!’ Let’s embrace the new thing and prepare for our next main event using all the available tools to share the message and celebrate and the birth of our Lord and Saviour
